Unwanted gifts for me...I didn't experienced any about it. But, your ideas are good. thanks for sharing this topic.
ReplyDeleteThese are great suggestions. Although if I'm going to sell them my friend or loved one might see it :( I guess the best option is just to give it to someone else hehe
ReplyDeleteI usually re-gift or donate my unwanted gifts.
ReplyDeleteI tend to keep every gift I receive but we really need to be practical nowadays and you gave me very good options on how to dispose of some "unwanted" gifts, either because I won't use them or I got a gift twice.
ReplyDeleteWhatever I get, I keep pr I give it to someone else whom I think needs it.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Ate Joy!

I don't know why, but as far as i remember i never have a gift that i never like, i always cherish them and i'm sure that i can use them in some way...
ReplyDeleteDonations may be a nice way to get rid of some gifts.
ReplyDeleteSome people re-gift unwanted presents. I have yet to do that though, because I normally just donate unwanted gifts to Salvation Army.

I appreciate every gift that I receive, if I can't use them, I just keep them and since I am now able to send some things over there, I include those gifts that I don't use... :-) I do have an eBay account, I might explore that possibility one of these days.
ReplyDeleteMy mom have it change pag ayaw nya lol. Me naman, I like all the gifts eh hehe but these are good and effective tips!
ReplyDeleteswapping gifts would be great idea! like the one i am following in instagram breadnbarter they found someone to swap things they wanted.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember having an unwanted gift. :) I usually find a reason to use them. But for those that I have too many of already, I usually keep them and store them, until I find the perfect person who would want those gifts.
ReplyDeleteSwapping is a great idea. I sometimes list item at Listia..
ReplyDeleteasking permission to the person who gave you the gift would be the first thing i would do, even if its a gift still they have the right way to know if you want to get rid of it or not.
ReplyDeletei usually keep the gifts i get, however, these are great tips, rather than keeping our gifts collect dust for not being used at all, why not let others use them.
ReplyDeleteI usually sell unwanted stuff or give to someone that needed it the most, that way I do not waste it :-)

Those so called unwanted gifts, I usually send it to the Philippines and make my family happy or someone in the neighborhood or church who needs it.
ReplyDeleteThe only gift we got last Christmas that we didn't want is a couple boxes of chocolates! Lol. You see, none in our household are into chocolates. So, we'll just store it until we can schedule to ship another box to Philippines. It will be for our lovedones and friends back home. :)

Wow! I would want the same material and technology to be installed and applied on heeled shoes for a more comfortable wear every day in the office. :)
ReplyDeleteI would normally feel guilty when I was gifted with something and there's no way for me to be able to utilize it. But we need to be practical too! Some other people may need it more than I do so it's best to re-gift it to somebody else with no offense meant to the gift-giver, Lovely tips!

I son't usually receive unwanted gifts kasi anything that comes from a friend or loved one is much appreciated. In cases na di ko talaga gusto, I just give it to someone and not sell the item :)
