Parenting Teenagers

My eldest son JM, is already 21 years old.   Gladly, I was able to surpass the teenage parenting with him with not so much problems encountered.   I might not be able to use and follow the same teenage parenting technique with my youngest son Yahmir, who is 11 years old because he is much more stubborn than his elder brother  It is a fact that in this era almost everything has changed.   We need to face these realities and find ways on how we can adapt to it. Well, fortunately we can also use these technologies to keep tab on our teens.   We ought to put the computer in a place that can be easily accessed by the family like the living room.   In this way, we can casually monitor their communications and put a limit in

The Magic Words

Kids always learn their firsts in our homes.   They learn to say their first word and being hands-on mothers, we were the first ones to hear it from them. They learn how to walk, learn how to write and draw through our effort and guidance.   These first experiences and achievements of our children gave us a bundle of joy. This is a moment of lifetime happiness for us. To see how they grow and how they achieve their little ways of joyous success in their endeavors. Cleaning 101: The Bathroom

Image
How often do you clean your Bathroom/Comfort room?  Based on hygienic purposes, it is best recommended to clean it daily.  It is the part of the house where bacteria and germs accumulates fast. I personally clean our bathroom on a daily basis, cleaning it before I take a bath. It may seem so tiring to do it everyday but I was used to it.  I want my bathroom and kitchen to be the cleanest part of the house and this is how I clean it:  Remove the shower curtain first, wash, then hang to dry. I get tired of cleaning it everyday so I removed it and just put it on again if we have visitors to come over (lol). Open windows and the door, then slip on rubber gloves before you grab your favorite tile spray cleaner or in my case I use a mixture of detergent soap and Domex cleaning agent (bleach can be an alternative) in a small pail. Other cleaning materials I use are:  big scrubber sponge, cleaning brush, toilet brush, a microfiber cloth and floor mop. I start with the hard to reac
