Grooming Keys for Men Skin Care

Men also suffer from different skin problems. I learned the proper way to embellish and improve men skin through experience.  My three boys (my husband and two sons) frequently complain of different skin issues.

Oily skin is the common problem among my two children. It gives their faces a greasy shine.  Yahmir once said that it look gross, lol. Oily skin is prone to blackheads and pimple breakouts.  Being worried of acquiring acne to cover their faces, I brought them to my dermatologist for proper evaluation and check up. My skin doctor taught them procedures and tips on the proper men skin care. They were advised to avoid harsh soaps and cleansers. We have learned that too much face-washing can cause redness and tenderness, which in turn makes your skin produce more oil.  Also there is a need to exfoliate regularly because dead cells can accumulate and clog pores, then follow with a light moisturizer to hydrate.

My husband is dealing with dark under-eye circles caused by lack of sleep, as well as aging. He was advised to get at least eight hours of sleep a night, and keep the under-eye area moisturized with antioxidant-rich products. He is also complaining of shaving problems.  His skin nick easily, gets red and bumpy after he shaves. The skin doctor informed us that beard shaving goes more smoothly when using a glycerin or gel. It will not only calm the skin, but it will let your razor to glide across your face. Finish shaving with a soothing aftershave lotion or your daily moisturizer.  Do not use alcohol- based aftershaves for it will  irritate your skin.

Now, it is not only me who is seeing a dermatologist, but the whole family as well. Who says Men are not vain? lol
