Parenting is a
twenty-four-hour, seven-days-a-week job that requires endless patience. If you
are a first time mom, it is best to talk to your husband on how you would like
to discipline, build and hone your children to become a strong and resilient
adult.
Parenting is a team
effort between the parents. It is best
to work together to plan strategies, share duties and decide on rules.
Suggested tips and
strategies on how to build emotionally stable and strong children are as
follows:
First
of all, we should
learn to accept our children’s inborn personality and temperament. As I already
mentioned in one of my previous post that no two siblings are alike. However,
when your child feels he belongs and feels competent, he is more likely to
become expressively strong.
Second, help them develop a sense of responsibility
for their actions. Teach them how to accept and handle mistakes and defeats as
challenges.
